About

A software product from a company you can hold to account

DrawbackIQ organizes import and export records for duty drawback and hands your broker a worksheet. That is the whole product.

What DrawbackIQ is

Self-service software for importers that also export. You upload your records, review proposed matches with their reasons and warnings, and decide what to accept. The output is a worksheet for your licensed customs broker. Read how it works and the methodology for the detail.

Who operates it

DrawbackIQ is a product of Buckshot Digital Sales Inc., a company based in Ontario, Canada. We say who we are by company, not by individual, and we put our commitments in writing on this site: the Terms, the Privacy Policy and the security page. Contact is by role address, listed on the contact page.

Why it exists

Matching entry lines to export lines by hand in a spreadsheet is slow, and the rules have enough exceptions that it is easy to get a match wrong or to miss a reason it should be held back. DrawbackIQ exists to do the sorting and the arithmetic consistently, to show its reasoning on every proposal and to leave the decision, and the filing, with you and your broker.

What it does not do

  • It does not file claims or connect to ACE.
  • It does not prepare claims for you. You use the software, and your broker prepares the claim.
  • It is not a customs broker, and gives no customs or legal advice.
  • It does not take a share of any refund. After early access, the price is a flat software fee.
  • It does not handle every kind of drawback. See what is not supported yet.

Where it stands

DrawbackIQ is in early access. We are not citing customer counts, testimonials or results, because we do not yet have any we can stand behind. We have no certifications or audits to show, and the security page says so.
