What DrawbackIQ does not handle yet
A short, honest list. If something you need is here, plan on handling it with your broker. This list describes the software as of 2026-10-19.

| Filing and ACE | DrawbackIQ does not file claims, does not connect to ACE and transmits nothing to CBP. Your broker or your own ABI filer files. |
| Manufacturing drawback | Goods used in manufacture or production (19 U.S.C. 1313(a), (b)) need rulings and production records the software does not hold. |
| Destruction claims | Destruction qualifies only under CBP's notice and witness rules (19 CFR 190.71). The software does not track them. |
| Returned or rejected merchandise | Retail returns and rejected merchandise have their own provisions and time limits (19 U.S.C. 1313(c)). Not supported. |
| Packaging, wine and petroleum rules | Special rules apply to each. The software applies none of them. |
| Substitution to Canada, Mexico or Chile | Substitution matches to these destinations are not proposed. Exports to Canada and Mexico are flagged and kept in a separate group, but USMCA claim data is not collected. |
| Accounting method selection | You state the inventory method you keep records under. The software does not see domestic sales or other receipts and cannot pick one for you. |
| Claimant, exporter and waiver records | The software assumes you are entitled to claim what you upload. It does not model transfers, waivers or who the exporter was. |
| Liquidation status | Whether an entry has liquidated, is under protest or has been refunded another way is not tracked. |
| Full CBP claim data | The worksheet is not a claim. Your broker supplies the other elements CBP requires, such as export identifiers, claimant data and certifications. |
| Export-side duty rates | The substitution lesser-of limit is estimated from the values you enter. The software does not look up tariff rates. |
| Section 201 duty column and quarterly HMT documents | Section 201 duty has no column of its own yet, and quarterly Harbor Maintenance Tax paperwork is not handled. |
| Unit conversion | Units must agree after normalizing synonyms. Dozens are not converted to each, or pounds to kilograms. |
| Proof of export | Export documents are not stored or checked. |
